Bio: José is a first-generation college graduate and is cognizant of how significantly education advances people’s lives and ultimately how it embraces community engagement and creates opportunities for a prosperous future. José is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas, he received his B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Studies and an M.A. in Political Science. He joined the UT Arlington CMAS team in the Spring of 2023. He teaches Political Science and Introduction to Mexican American Studies. His family roots are in Guanajuato, Mexico.
